SKETCHBOOK
This section is a collection of my personal thoughts, featuring unused projects, early concepts I’ve enjoyed, and personal works that reflect my creative journey. It’s a glimpse into the ideas that might not have made it to final production but still hold a special place for me. These pieces offer insight into my artistic process, the themes I’m drawn to, and the styles I love to explore. It’s a chance to see not just the finished work, but the ideas that drive me as an illustrator, a graphic designer, and an individual.
These comic-inspired posters are a personal passion project, blending two of my favorite things: modern comic movies and the classic comics they’re based on. During my downtime, I enjoy recreating movie posters to appear like as if they came out during the golden age of comics. One of my favorite parts is recreating the halftone colors and the unique faded textures that can only come from the printing techniques of the time.
Some of my favorite unused concepts come from exploring different artistic styles across various time periods. I enjoy immersing myself in the techniques of each era and pay close attention to the details to recreate an authentic look. These unused pieces might not have made it to final production, but they reflect my passion for learning and experimenting with different styles, capturing the essence of their time.
One of my personal projects involves taking modern Transformers figures and redesigning their packaging to look as if they were released in the 80s. I study the original box designs from that era and aim to recreate the authentic look of 80s packaging, down to the small details like distressed textures and offset printing effects. This project is both a creative challenge and a nostalgic tribute.
